AISI’s “Charge to Action”

Guest speaker, Dave Ashley spoke tonight on sin & everything related to it. “For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23)” & “the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23)”. We are sinners by nature & that’s the bad news. What’s the good news? The answer is simply Jesus. He is the cure for our sin problem. Jesus died on the cross for us to be saved from our sin. Hoorah! AISI’s “Charge to Action”- Be encouraged by 1 John 5:11-13. The only person that can save us from hell is Jesus. And he is the only one who can take the wrath of God away from us (Rom 5:9). And there is only one name given on which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in the Son (1 John 5:11).” You have the Son (Jesus) you have life. If you don’t have Jesus, then you have death; a death that has misery, torment, and punishment. We have two options: take Jesus for LIFE or yourself for DEATH. Share the good news of life only found in Jesus!!
